2010 Vacation part 2

We had to take about a 40 min. ferry ride to get to the island and some dope was feeding seagulls. I guess you can imagine what happened next. She was lucky it wasn't my car! When we arrived it was extremely hot and we just explored the island for a little while, but around 5:00 we went to the beach and found out that Vivi loves the sand. Vacation 2010 part 1

These are some pictures of The Storch Family in Williamsburg, Virginia. Vivi first thing when we arrived at our hotel did a swan dive into the tub. Not a single tear, already tougher than daddy!

On our first night we walked through the colonial part and Vivi saw husky squirrels, her first sheep, and also chased geese out of a field. Vivi also wanted to be a big girl and climb into the rocking chair and pack her own suitcase. On our second and last night in Williamsburg we asked a local where to eat and he recommended a BBQ place and then walked the streets where we stopped in a toy and candy store for Vivi. Vivi only broke one thing in the candy shop, you would think they would make those stores more childproof!

Botanical and Butterfly Garden

Chinese dinner

Vivi had a busy week, her first Chinese restaurant..watching her slurp lo mein was hilarious (pictures to follow), she finished dinner with a root beer flavord sucker and as you can see it was quite amusing!

We also went to a botanical/butterfly garden. Vivi was playing with some strange seeds she found on the ground and the word gentle was used multiple times around the butterfly, I wonder if she thought she had a new nickname?

Throw in a little wine tasting in Virginia and an afternoon of dog wrestling and you can see why mom and dad need to nap on a daily basis!

It has been awhile...

So the Beckers came out to visit in early July and as you can see she was Grandpa's little buddy for the week.

Vivi is not walking more than crawling, she really gets excited when I start chasing her. Gravity is her biggest foe at the moment, but having a cushion of Pooh Bears doesn't hurt!

Vivi had a great first trip on the plane to WI. She had a plane ride, a limo ride, was at a horse show a week before...daddy's wallet is shaking in his back pocket for what is to come in the future!

Vivi is about ready to take off on her own, her older brother is being nice and helping her learn how to walk.

Vivi is also too cool with her glasses, used to hate them now she cannot get enough!

Memorial Day weekend 2010

This weekend Vivi had her first drink of soda, visit to Baltimore, experience watching a bird eat a fish in the Chesapeake Bay, dip in the pool, step, and her first sleep over with her cousin!
