This post has an eclectic mix of pictures and videos. The videos were of Vivi eating dinner at two different times, but I think our parenting skills are going to be questioned during both instances. One night Vivi only ate day old bread from Jimmy Johns,which she thought was either a magic wand or billy-club. I am not sure which one. The meal consisted of ultra buttery popcorn and extra large soda bought at the Frederick Keys baseball game. In her parents defense...the instances occurred over Memorial Day weekend and at her first baseball game-two great all American experiences! In one other event (see video) decided to show us she could eat french fries with no hands! Is this a call back to her simian roots?

The other two pictures show Vivi at the Keys game. She rode the carousel, ate popcorn, got a orange balloon (which popped after a few minutes) and then recieved a yellow one that continued to hit her father in the face for the first three innings at which time we left. There was also a blimp overhead that she named the, "biiiiiiig balloon" all pointed out all night long. Overall, the Storch family had a great family outing and made some memories.

Vivi: Playtime, Bathtime, and Birthday party time!

Vivi and her friend have very close birthdays so she was able to attend a party the day before her birthday. What an awesome weekend for a two year old! I have also put some random pictures of Vivi and our family since our last posting. Hope everyone is well!

The start of Easter Break

Vivi and I are home all this week and Monday, with this free time I am hoping to have a few more updates. This most recent post I hope clears me of the one always being accused of making the mess around the house!

This morning Vivi woke up and had to untie herself out of a knot. Today in Frederick there was a possible new record high, it was in the low to mid-80's at 4:30 driving home tonight. So after a nice bath Vivi and mom enjoyed a nice bowl of strawberry shortcake. Hope everyone is well.

Evolution of the laugh

A couple weeks ago I posted Vivi laughing at her favorite show Charlie and Lola. Here it is after about 20+ viewings. I also tried to include a video of what she is watching so can understand what she is laughing at as well. Dear Charlie and Lola, please do not come after me for violating copyright laws.

So we were driving home this morning and Vivi wanted to be a big girl and put on her own sunglasses. As you can see we need to work on this a little bit!

Our first real day of spring!

A couple days ago we had our first taste of spring weather, it was over 70 degrees and we went to our local park (Baker Park) and did our river walk. Vivi was very interested in what the ducks had to say. One of the ducks was trying to protect his partner from two other "interested" males. I think they need to change the old saying to be the birds and the bees and the ducks!

Jacki caught a little Leprechaun!

One of Vivi's new favorite activities is coloring. Coloring on the paper, tables, walls, and even the dogs. This coloring obsession has even lead to the outdoors. Vivi is a sidewalk chalk fan and Jefferson has a desire to sit on any picture Vivi draws. If you look closely you will see Vivi has her St. Patrick's Day colors on her backside, while Jeffy has the rainbow on his....no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow!

Vivi's new favorite outlet...

Vivi has been absolutely enamored with coloring over the past month or two. We must thank the Ketterhagen family for getting the ball rolling with this hobby, it started with a Hello Kitty book and now we have life size Dora coloring sheets. Jacki is working on getting Vivi to recognize shapes (stars, circles, hearts, etc..) and she actually is doing quite well. Vivi also loves to dump out the crayons, pick them up, and repeat!

Playing in the basement

Vivi and I were playing in the basement when she discovered her favorite, giant orange ball was slightly deflated. Not one to let the small things in life get her down, she climbed on her rocking chair to explore the concept of momentum.

Clean, Clean, Clean...

One of Vivi's favorite new activities is to brush her teeth standing on top of her potty. As you can see it is quite the production. Hopefully I can keep up this blogging momentum!

It has been a long time...

It has been a very long time since I have updated this blog, so first I need to apologize, secondly this was too funny for me to keep on my phone for only Jacki and I to enjoy. Hope everyone else finds it as amusing as the Storch Family.

To set the stage Vivi is watching Charlie and Lola (her favorite show for over 12 mos.) and we ran into a new episode where Lola is playing with a Piggy Bank and starts to bang it on the table, if you watch closely Vivi even starts to hit the table. Charlie yells at Lola and she stops and plays nicely, but then picks up a rubber chicken and starts smacking the table again and this is when Vivi hits another peak in toddler hysteria!
